Derwent Reservoir Trail Runs – Sunday 17th May 2026 

Our popular 5k & 10k Trail Runs at Derwent Reservoir will be returning on Sunday 17th May 2026, alongside our Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons.

New to Trail Running? This could be ideal for you! Our trail runs are suited for all fitness levels and take in the breathtaking reservoir and surroundings.

Derwent Reservoir

This outstanding reservoir, owned by Northumbrian Water, sits on the border of Durham & Northumberland. The trail runs will take place from the south side of the reservoir.

Most of the running is on firm trails and footpaths, with some sections on grass and woodland.

Cani-Cross

This event is Canicross friendly and we allow 1 controlled dog per runner

We expect the Trail Runs to start approx 10am but exact times will be confirmed closer to the event.
